Zeng Qin, a 10-year-old girl from Taiwan of China:

My city, Taipei, is a lot fun. There are many cars and transportation is convenient. Houses are all in different sizes and look funny. In the parks, we can ride bicycles. Cleaners make the park clean and there are also many volunteers working for the schools.

I don't like some aspects of Taipei. There are not enough places for jogging and some people litter. I think it is wrong!

The city of my dreams is a place where people are not so busy, so that my father could spend more time with me. The city of my dreams recycles rubbish automatically. I hope my city could use solar energy in the future to save energy.

Gala Saif Abdullah, a 5-year-old girl from the United Arab Emirates:

I have three brothers. I like dolls very much. I watch the TV program Teletubbies every day. My father always takes me to the countryside; I like it there. I can see a lot of lambs there; they are very lovely.

I live in the city now. It is not as good as the countryside. I like painting very much. I draw pictures of the countryside every day. I hope I can live in the countryside when I grow up. I like to cook for myself. I have a mini kitchen. My mother prepared some cooking tools for me.
