According to a monthly survey by China Index Academy, which tracks changes in home prices in 100 Chinese cities, the average price of residential homes in June is 8,856 yuan (US$1,370) per square meter, up 0.41 percent than in May.
Among the 100 cities surveyed, Shenzhen topped the list with the highest home prices at 25,699 yuan (US$3,975) per square meter in June, followed by Shanghai at 23,752 yuan (US$3,674), Beijing at 22,884 yuan (US$3,540).
