According to a monthly survey by China Index Academy, which tracks changes in home prices in 100 Chinese cities, the average price of residential homes in March is 8,738 yuan (US$1,334) per square meter, up 0.59 percent than in February.
Among the 100 cities surveyed, Shenzhen topped the list with the highest home prices at 25,253 yuan (US$3,856) per square meter in March, followed by Shanghai at 23,586 yuan (US$3,601), Beijing at 22,893 yuan (US$3,495).
