Sheffield United defender Sun Jihai has admitted a charge of improper conduct by the Football Association (FA) and has requested a personal hearing, teamtalk.com says.
According to FA, the Chinese international was cited for his reaction to being shown a red card for a tackle on Coventry's Michael Mifsud during Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Bramall Lane.
In an earlier interview with China's "Titan Sports Weekly", Sun said he didn't think a red card was fair.
But English Newspaper "The Daily Mail" reported that Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell has vowed to discipline the former Manchester City player.
The 30-year-old defender will now have his case heard on Friday, said teamtalk.com.
Sun has already suspended for three games because of the red card. And all the media predicted that he will probably stay out of the football court longer after the hearing.
