China beats S. Korea in Asian Champions League

Chinese champion Changchun Yatai downed South Korea's Pohang Steelers 1-0 at home in the Asian Champions League group match in Changchun on Wednesday.

The host scored the lone goal in the 84th minute when Dazaghi, Yatai's center forward from Cote d'Ivoire, headed in a corner kick from Du Zhenyu to prove the winner.

So far, Yatai has maintained unbeaten in the group stage with two victories and a draw.

The victory is the fifth one Chinese clubs have won over a South Korean club since China's professional league was inaugurated in 1994.
