Liaoning Hunters survived Zhang Cheng's three consecutive 3-pointers in the last minute of the overtime to beat Jiangsu Dragons 115-114 at home on Sunday in the Chinese Basketball Association league (CBA).

Point guard Yang Ming buried both free-throws to give the home team a 110-106 lead with 7.4 seconds to go.

Zhang, who was 7-out-of-15 from behind the arc for 29 points, drilled in his second 3-pointer on the left corner with three seconds left but the Dragons failed to commit a foul for the last chance.

Liaoning, which extended its perfect home record to 10 games, came back from a 76-69 deficit after three quarters to push the game into overtime at 98 apiece.

Center Tang Zhengdong had 33 points and nine rebounds for the Dragons while Garnett Thompson led the Hunters with 29 points and 13 rebounds.

Forward Mo Ke made the game-winning lay-up with two seconds left to help Bayi Rockets to their 12 consecutive win with a 120-118 overtime victory over Shanghai Sharks.

Wang Zhizhi scored 43 points and took 10 rebounds for Bayi while Mo Ke and Li Nan added 26 points apiece.

With only seven players available for the match the Sharks had the better of the game at the beginning before the visitors stole the lead after three quarters at 83-82.

Jermaine Dearman, who had 29 points and 12 rebounds, leveled the game on 109-all in the regular time for the Sharks but no miracles this time as Wang Sizhang's 3-pointer attempt bounced out from the rim in overtime.

In Sunday's other games, Zhejiang Cyclones beat Zhejiang Guangsha 95-89; Dongguan New Century defeated Yunnan Bulls 141-124; Guangdong Southern Tigers thrashed Fujian SBS 96-75; Xinjiang Flying Tigers edged Beijing Ducks 106-101; Shannxi Kylins beat Shanxi Zhongyu 115-102 while Shandong Flaming Bulls earned an away 87-84 win over Jilin Northeast Tigers.
