More than 600 people have registered an interest in buying tickets for the London 2012 Olympic Games since they officially went on sale on March 15, the Chinese exclusive distributor said Sunday.
China Sports Industry Group and Beijing Caissa Tourist International Travel Service, authorized by the Chinese Olympic Committee for ticket sale and related reception services respectively, said buyers could log onto www.caissa.com.cn for ticket applications.
Charlie Li, representative of Britain's main inbound tourism association VisitBritain to China, estimated that as a large sports and tourist country, China would have 150,000 visitors travel to Britain in 2012.
