British top player Andy Murray sealed an easy win in the men's singles second round as Queen Elizabeth II arrived on Thursday for her first visit to Wimbledon since 1977.
The 4th seed Murray saw off his opponent Jarkko Nieminen from Finland 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 after only 82 minutes.
Both players bowed to the queen before and after the match and met the queen right after the encounter.
On the queen's last visit on 1 July, 1977, British Virginia Wade won the ladies' singles championship.
Murray is going to face Gilles Simon of France while Simon's second round opponent Illya Marchenko from Ukraine walked over.
