AC Milan forward Ronaldinho says he will try to make Brazil's squad for next year's World Cup in South Africa.

"Sometimes I even try to avoid this question because it seems that I'm trying hard to be called," he told Globo TV on Sunday. "Without a doubt it would be a dream to play in another World Cup. My wish is to go there and bring another trophy to the Brazilian people."

The 29-year-old hasn't been selected by coach Dunga since the beginning of the year.

The playmaker said he believes a good performance with AC Milan will be key for him to having a chance of playing at the World Cup for the third straight time.

"I have adapted after a year in Italy and things are working well again," Ronaldinho said. "I'm going through a wonderful moment. I'm happy. If I keep doing well and win titles with my club I will have more chances."

Ronaldinho had a disappointing performance in the 2006 World Cup in Germany, when Brazil was eliminated by France in the quarterfinals. He helped Brazil win the 2002 World Cup in South Korea and Japan.
