According to statistics released by Taobao.com, residents in Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, bought the most cat food, Yangtze Evening News reported.

Nine cities ranked behind it are Huzhou, Huai'an, Lianyungang, Changzhou, Wuxi, Xuzhou, Yangzhou, Fushun, and Fuyang.

Among the top 10, seven cities -- Zhenjiang, Huai'an, Lianyungang, Changzhou, Wuxi, Xuzhou, and Yangzhou -- are in Jiangsu Province. Huzhou city is in Zhejiang Province, Fushun is in Liaoning, and Fuyang is in Anhui.

Because cat is considered to be very picky, some say cat-loving women from South China tend to have a more delicate lifestyle.
