A total of 9.33 million students across China sat for the National College Entrance Exam on Tuesday, reported China News Service. 据中新社电，周二，全国总共933万名考生参加高考。
The Ministry of Education Monday warned on its website that all cheating devices and measures are against the law, and students should not use them. 教育部周一在官网发布高考预警，表示使用任何作弊器材和手段都是违法行为，并提醒考生不要铤而走险。

It also said any cheating on the NCEE will be severely punished.
