Such pigs' manure contains less phosphorus than normal slurry and poses less risk to natural waters. They also look, sound and taste like normal pigs.

       据英国《每日邮报》消息，研究人员近日研制出一种新型转基因“科学怪猪”，这种猪将会更加廉价、清洁。

       与一般的猪相比，“科学怪猪”排出的粪便磷含量较少。不过这些猪的外观、叫声甚至是味道和普通猪没有区别。

       “科学怪猪”将会成为第一种被允许进入食物链的转基因动物，也会有朝一日成为我们肉制品的源泉。
