| The liquor contains six traditional Chinese remedies, including deer antler and tortoise shell. But an expert in traditional Chinese medicine said recently that, while these ingredients can help resolve kidney ailments, they may be harmful to people with high blood pressure or heart disease. People under 30 and over 60 are, therefore, not advised to drink the liquor. Currently the advice provided by manufacturers of Gold Liquor only says it is not suitable for children and teenagers. |
