The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Friday again
accused the United States of conducting spy flights over its
coastal area.
An unnamed spokesman for the air command of the Korean People's
Army(KPA) said in a statement that the United States conducted a
spy flight on Friday in its airspace over the east of Hwadae,
Chongjin and other places along the eastern coast of the DPRK.
A US reconnaissance plane flew over strategic DPRK targets for
hours, said the statement carried by the official Korean Central
News Agency(KCNA).
"The ceaseless illegal intrusions... have created an imminent
danger of a military clash in the sky above those waters," said the
spokesman.
This was the third warning in less than a week. The air command
of the KPA issued two similar statements on Sunday and Monday.
The DPRK said the United States conducted more than 170 spy
flights in May.
