Super Junior Band Stirs Shanghai Fans
Adjust font size:

A charity concert held in Shanghai on Wednesday night has become a show-off for the South Korean pop boy band, Super Junior.

Although the night featured another three Chinese singers and groups, and only ten of the 13 Super Junior boys made it to the show, most of the 6,000 delirious fans were there to follow their Korean idols, according to Sohu.com.

The Shanghai show was the last leg of a three-city charity event jointly sponsored by Cyworld.com.cn and Sohu.com. The show stopped in Beijing and Guangzhou in mid-June. Participating musicians included Chinese American singer and songwriter Lee-Hom Wang and Jun Jin of the K-pop group Shinhwa.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross Society of China.
