Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Thursday postponed the upcoming visit of the Pakistani Cricket Team to the country due to security reason, a senior official said.

Senior vice president of BCB Mahbubul Anam told Xinhua on Thursday that "We have decided to postpone the Pakistani cricket team's visit to Bangladesh as a matter of taking time to ensure foolproof security."

He said "We are in consultation with Pakistani side about the new arrangement for their visit."
