Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and his Mexican counterpart Patricia Espinosa Cantellano on Friday co-hosted the third meeting of the China-Mexico Permanent Bi-national Commission.
The nations' delegates talked about a joint plan for the China-Mexico Permanent Bi-national Commission from 2006 to 2010, and consulted on strengthening cooperation.
The two sides were satisfied with the progress of bilateral relations in recent years, and agreed to improve the working of the Bi-national Commission so as to increase friendly cooperation.
The two countries had agreed to set up a Bilateral Strategic Partnership in 2003. The commission held its first meeting in Beijing in 2004.
