A European health agency said Saturday that 113 new A/H1N1 flu cases were reported in European countries within the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 32 were confirmed in Cyprus, 31 in France, 13in Belgium, 12 in Ireland, nine in Malta, six in Switzerland, five in Portugal, two respectively in Latvia and Romania, one in Slovenia, the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) said in its daily situation report.

The total number of confirmed cases of the H1N1 flu virus in the EU and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries rose to 13,780, with 1,034 cases in Spain and 9,718 in Britain, 434 in France and 691 in Germany, the ECDC said.
The ECDC publishes a daily situation report about the H1N1 flu cases in the EU and EFTA countries based on official information from these countries.
