Stance on Dalai Lama reiterated
Adjust font size:

The door to talks with the Dalai Lama is always open, and they will make progress only if he justifies his words with his actions.

This can be assured only if he openly voices opposition to activities aimed at disturbing the Beijing Olympic Games and plots to fan violence. The Dalai Lama should also stop backing the violent terrorist activities of the "Tibetan Youth Congress" and come out openly against "Tibet independence".

An official of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee reiterated the central government's stance in an interview with Xinhua yesterday.
