12. Mergui Archipelago, located in the southernmost part of Myanmar, consists of over 800 islands. The islands and surrounding seas are alive with an amazing diversity of marine life and very beautiful underwater scenes.

The only human inhabitants in the area are Moken or spectacularly "Gypsies on the sea". They live alongside with the marine life harmoniously. However, the global climate change and rising of the sea level might damage the coral ecosystem around the archipelago and then their life.
