Bi Shu Shan Zhuang (Summer Mountain Villa), one of the best-known imperial resorts in China, will host an international tourism festival this September, to mark the 300th anniversary of its founding.
The summer resort, which was built by the government of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), is located in Chengde City, Hebei Province, north China.
Over 2,000 domestic and overseas officials and business people are expected to participate in the festive programs in a series of meetings, art performances, business talks, and sightseeing activities.
The gala is co-sponsored by the provincial and municipal governments.
