Weekly Weather Forecast (May 1 to 7)

Northwest China: May 1 to 3, eastern sections of the region will be overcast with light rainfall. Affected by a cold front, western and northern Xinjiang will have light rain or snow on May 2. These areas will again be overcast with light rain or snow on May 4 due to the attack of another cold front, but most of the remainder sections will be under sunny to cloudy skies. May 5 to 6, central and eastern sections will be overcast with showers expected from west to east. May 7, more streams of cold air will affect the region. 

 

North China: May 1 to 2, western and northern sections of the region will be overcast with showers. May 3 to 4, most sections will meet showers or thundershowers from west to east with force 3 southerly, then northerly winds. May 5, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy. May 6 to 7, most of the region will experience another shower or thundershower from west to east.

 

Northeast China: May 1 to 2, eastern Heilongjiang Province and eastern Jilin Province will be overcast with light rain or snow. May 3, most parts of the region will be sunny to cloudy. May 4, most of the region will receive light to moderate rain or snow. May 5 to 6, most parts will see sunny to cloudy skies. May 7, the region will turn overcast from west to east with possible showers in western parts.

 

Central China: During the week, southern parts will see continuous overcast and rainy days, normally with light to moderate rainfall. It’s getting heavier during the latter half of the week, and some parts will meet heavy to stormy rain accompanied by occasional strong winds and lightning storms in some places. May 4 to 7, central and northern parts will have showers or thundershowers.

 

East China: During the week, southern sections of the region will experience continuous overcast and rainy weather, normally with light to moderate rainfall. It’s getting heavier during the latter half of the week, and some parts will meet heavy to stormy rain, accompanied by occasional strong winds and lightning storms in some places. May 4 to 7, central and northern parts will have showers or thundershowers.

 

South China: May 1 to 2, western and northern sections will have light to moderate rain with heavy rain in some areas. May 3 to 5, western and northern parts will be overcast with light rain. May 6 to 7, most of the region will meet light to moderate rain with heavy rain in some areas.

 

Southwest China: May 1 to 2, eastern sections will have light to moderate rain. May 3 to 4, eastern Tibet, eastern sections of the region will be overcast with light rain. May 5 to 6, eastern sections will continue to see light to moderate rain with heavy rain expected in some areas. May 7, most of the region will be cloudy and partly overcast with showers possible in some places.
