Northwest China: April 17 to 18, western Xinjiang and southern Qinghai will have light rain or snow while other areas of the region will enjoy sunny to cloudy skies with rising temperatures. April 19 to 21, northern Xinjiang will meet force 4 to 5 northerly winds with rain or snow showers, while the mountain passes will receive force 6 to 7 winds. Eastern sections of the region will be cloudy to sunny with showers in some areas. April 22 to 23, affected by another cold front, northern Xinjiang and eastern sections of the region will continue to experience strong winds and lower temperatures with possible floating dust in some places.
North China: April 17 to 18, northernmost and eastern sections will be overcast with light to moderate rain or showers while some of northeastern Inner Mongolia will meet heavy rainfall with force 4 northerly winds expected in most sections of the region. April 19 to 22, northeastern Inner Mongolia will continue to be overcast with light rainfall, and central and southern sections will be overcast with showers. Most of the region will have force 4 to 5 southerly winds. April 23, most of the region will have strong winds with dusty winds possible in some areas as well as lower temperatures.
Northeast China: April 17 to 19, most of the region will be overcast with light to moderate rain or snow, accompanied by force 4 to 6 southerly or northerly winds and low temperatures. April 20 to 22, northernmost and easternmost parts will continue to receive light to moderate rain or snow with mild winds and higher temperatures. April 23, affected by streams of cold air, the region will experience strong winds and colder weather with rain or snowfall expected in some areas.
Central China: April 17 to 19, central and southern parts will be overcast with light to moderate rain. Some of these areas will probably meet with heavy to stormy rain accompanied by occasional thunderstorms and strong winds. Northern parts will be dominated by cloudy to overcast skies with possibly occasional light showers. April 20 to 23, most of the region will be cloudy while central and southern parts will meet with light to moderate rain or thundershowers, heavy rainfall may hit some of these places. Northern parts will be overcast with showers or light to moderate rainfall.
East China: April 17 to 19, most of the region will be overcast with light to moderate rain or showers with heavy to stormy rain expected in some of southern parts, accompanied by occasional lightning storms and strong winds. April 20 to 23, most of the region will be cloudy with showers or thundershowers in some areas, while some of Jiangsu and Anhui provinces will experience moderate to heavy rainfall, possibly rainstorms in some places, accompanied by occasional lightning storms and strong winds.
South China: April 17 to 19, most of the region will be overcast with light to moderate rain or showers with heavy to stormy rainfall in some of northern parts, accompanied by occasional lightning storms and strong winds. April 20 to 23, most parts will be dominated by cloudy skies with occasional showers or thundershowers in some places.
Southwest China: April 17 to 19, Tibet and most of eastern parts of the region will be overcast with light to moderate rain or snow or showers. April 20 to 23, most of the region will continue to see overcast skies and rainfall, while eastern sections of the Sichuan Basin and some of Chongqing and Guizhou will meet moderate to heavy rainfall with rainstorms expected in some areas, accompanied by occasional lightning storms and strong winds.
