Weekly Weather Forecast (Dec. 5 to 11)

Northwest China: During the first three days of the week, most of the region will be dominated by sunny to cloudy skies with moderate winds. December 8 to 11, affected by streams of cold air, most of the region will experience light to moderate snowfall or sleet with heavy snowfall in some areas, accompanied by force 4 to 6 northerly winds. Northern Xinjiang and its mountain passes will have force 6 to 8 strong winds with a drop in temperature.

 

North China: Affected by streams of cold air, December 5 to 6, most of the region will meet force 3 to 4 northerly winds with a drop in temperature. December 7 to 9, most of the region will be mainly sunny to cloudy with temperature rising slightly. December 10 to 11, more streams of cold air will affect the region, bringing snowfall or sleet along with strong winds.

 

Northeast China: December 5 to 7, easternmost and southern parts will have light to moderate snowfall with heavy snowfall expected in some places, accompanied by force 4 to 5 northerly winds and lower temperatures. December 8 to 10, most of the region will be under sunny to cloudy skies with light snowfall in some areas. Starting from December 11, more streams of cold air will affect the region. 

 

Central China: Affected by streams of cold air, central and northern parts of the region will have force 4 northerly winds with a drop in temperatures. During the week, most of the region will see little precipitation, while some of southwestern parts will get occasional showers. 

 

East China: Affected by streams of cold air, December 5, most of the region will have force 4 to 6 northerly winds with colder temperatures. December 6 to 11, most of the region will be dominated by sunny to cloudy skies with little precipitation, while some of southern sections will have occasional showers. The temperature will rise slowly.

 

South China: Affected by streams of cold air, December 5 to 6, most of the region will have force 4 northerly winds with lower temperatures. During the latter half of the week, most of the region will be dominated by sunny to cloudy skies with overcast skies and light rainfall possible in some of western sections, while the temperatures will not change greatly.

 

Southwest China: December 5 to 8, eastern parts will have more overcast and rainy days with possible moderate rainfall in some places, while the temperatures will decline. December 9 to 11, some of Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan provinces will receive light rainfall.
