Weekly Weather Forecast (Nov. 28 to Dec. 4)

Northwest China: November 28 to 29, most of the region will enjoy sunny days with force 4 to 5 northerly winds expected in eastern parts. From November 30 to December 2, affected by stronger streams of cold air, northern Xinjiang will have light to moderate snowfall with force 7 to 9 gale in the mountain pass of northern Xinjiang and force 4 to 6 northerly winds and lower temperatures throughout most of the region. December 3 to 4, another stream of cold air will affect northernmost parts.

 

North China: November 28 to 29, most parts will be sunny to cloudy with overcast skies and light snowfall expected in some eastern sections of Inner Mongolia. November 30, most parts will appear force 4 to 6 northerly winds with a drop in temperature. December 1 to 2, most of the region will be cloudy to sunny with possible fog, while some central and northern sections will see light to moderate snow. December 3 to 4, affected by streams of cold air, most of the region will meet force 4 to 6 northerly winds and temperatures will also drop.

 

Northeast China: November 28 to 29, easternmost parts will receive light to moderate snow with force 4 to 5 northerly winds throughout most of the region. From November 30 to December 1, central and southern parts will experience light to moderate snow with heavy snowfall expected in some areas, accompanied by force 4 to 6 southerly, then northerly winds and a drop in temperature. December 2 to 4, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with mild winds and warmer temperature.

 

Central China: November 28 to 30, affected by two streams of cold air, northern and western parts will have light rainfall or sleet with force 4 to 5 northerly winds in central and northern parts. The temperatures will drop. December 1 to 2, most of the region will be cloudy with light rain or sleet possible in some of northwestern parts. December 3 to 4, affected by streams of cold air, areas north of the Yangtze River will have force 4 to 6 northerly winds, while areas south of the Yangtze River will meet force 4 southerly winds with colder temperatures. During the week, the region will see 2 to 3 foggy days.

 

East China: November 28 to 29, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy. November 30 to December 1, affected by streams of cold air, most of the region will blow force 4 to 6 northerly winds with declining temperatures. December 2 to 4, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with force 4 northerly winds expected in central and northern parts. The temperatures will rise slowly. The region will see 1 to 2 foggy days during the week.

 

South China: November 28 to 29, southernmost sections will be cloudy and partly overcast with showers in some places. From November 30 to December 1, affected by streams of cold air, most sections will be sunny to cloudy with force 4 northerly winds in central and northern sections, accompanied by lower temperatures. December 2 to 4, another stream of cold air will affect the region and the region will be dominated by sunny to cloudy skies with little precipitation.

 

Southwest China: Eastern sections of the region will be dominated by cloudy to overcast skies with light to moderate rain possible in some areas. From November 28 to December 1, eastern Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou and eastern Yunnan will be overcast with light to moderate rainfall, while eastern Tibet and northwestern Sichuan will experience occasional light snowfall or sleet. The temperatures in eastern parts will also drop slightly. December 2 to 4, eastern Tibet, western and southern Sichuan, western Yunnan and western Guizhou will meet light to moderate rainfall or snow. During the week, eastern parts will also expect 4 to 5 foggy days.
