China will establish a joint technology park in Austria under a document signed in Vienna on Wednesday.
A visiting Chinese delegation, headed by the country's Vice-Minister of Science and Technology Ma Songde, has signed a memorandum of understanding on the project with the Austrian government.
The project aims to build a platform for Chinese high-tech companies to enter the European and international markets.
It was first proposed by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology.
