Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi has met with the Swedish Prime Minister and King in Sweden, with parties agreeing to strengthening cooperation and exchanges on the basis of the One China policy.
King Carl Gustaf and Prime Minister Goran Persson, say Swedish entrepreneurs want to expand trade with China, which is currently Sweden's biggest Asian trade and investment partner.
Sweden is also China's biggest trade partner in Northern Europe.
The Swedish government has attached great importance to cooperation with China and is willing to broaden and deepen its exchanges and cooperation with China while adhering to its "One China" policy, Persson said.
During last nights (Monday) speech at a dinner hosted by the Swedish business community, Wu Yi thanked Swedish enterprises for their efforts in promoting trade with China.
She says the two countries share opinions on many important international issues.
Wu arrived in Stockholm on Sept. 25 for a four-day visit to Sweden, which also includes a stay at Gothenberg, the second largest city of the country.
