Premier Wen Jiabao presided over an executive meeting of the State Council on China's economy in Beijing on Monday.
The meeting heard and discussed the report on the state of the economy and suggested measures for the second half of this year submitted by the State Development and Reform Commission.
The State Council and its agencies have analyzed the state of the economy and studied further measures since June. Senior State Council leaders also heard comments and proposals from experts at seminars on June 17 and 24.
