In the first quarter, Angola's shooting percentage was high and drilled straight 3-pointers to lead the first quarter by 4 points, 25-21.
Angola widened the gap to 11 after half, and 15 after the third quarter.
The final quarter started as Angola led 66-50. Puerto Rico never trailed and finally lost 73-90.
Angola had three double-digit scorers. The 1.96-meter forward Eduardo Minga had team-high 19 points and Carlos Almeida added 14.
Two Puerto Ricans had double-digit, the 1.93-meter guard Rick Apodaca 19 points and Filiberto Rivera 16.
