Mengke Bateer and Williams Nate combined for 64 points and 20 rebounds as the Beijing Ducks extended their unbeaten streak on the season by beating hosts Dongguan Xinshiji 114-102 on yesterday evening.

Menke Bateer nailed a game-high 49 points while grabbing 14 rebounds. He was 4-of-5 from the 3-pointer range in the win.

Williams Nate chipped in 15 points. Chen Lei and Jiao Jian each added 11 points for the Ducks, who have won all the seven games so far.

Anthony Miles posed a team-high with 36 points plus 11 boards for Dongguan. But he only  managed to shoot 2-of-10 from the arc.

Wang Yong and Wu Songwei scored 22 points and 11 respectively in defeat.

Beijing's Two Towers, Bateer and Williams, dominated the inside play throughout the game as they helped the Ducks to lead 27-24 after first quarter, 58-48 after half and 83-75 after 36 minutes.

"We are by no means competitive in the paint, and they have two guys under the ring, really hard to guard." Zhang Yongjun, head coach of Dongguan, said after the game.

Beijing outrebounded Dongguan 32-21 in defensive boards, and it has been the sixth consecutive loss for Xinshiji, who have only gained one win by beating Jiangsu, 120-111 on their home court in the 2nd round.

In other games on Wednesday, Shaanxi lost to Bayi 100-116, Jilin beat Fujian 108-92, Shanghai outplayed Henan 119-100, Liaoning trounced Yunnan 101-88, Jiangsu edged Shandong 93-88 and Xinjiang beat Zhejiang 104-93.
