Hunters Hand Ducks 6-game Winning Streak

The Beijing Ducks trounced the visiting Liaoning Hunters 96-80 yesterday night to extend their unbeaten streak to 6 games.

Beijing's Monk Bateer gained a team-high 27 points and 12 boards and mad 14-of-16 free throws. Jiao Jian had 15 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Xie Libin added 15 points for the home team.

On Liaoning's side, only two players had double-doubles. 18-year-old Yang Ming chipped in a game-high 32 points and Bian Qiang contributed 18 points for the Hunters, who have lost 3 in their last 5 games.

Beijing outrebounded Liaoning 47-31 in the game.

In other matches played on Friday, Zhejiang beat Shanghai 94-87;Bayi outlasted Jiangsu 119-112 in OT; Fujian lost to Guangdong 86-74; Yunnan beat Dongguan 135-124; Xinjiang crushed Henan 100-80; Shaanxi defeated Shandong 97-88.
