Taiwan singer Jolin has completed her transformation into one of the hottest singers in the mando-pop world. At the end of last month, her latest album Castle had sold 330,000 copies. This week, her record company held a grand party to celebrate her success.
The grandiose affair opened amidst dazzling fireworks. All dressed up like a fairy-land princess, Jolin ascended onto the stage to arouse screams of delight from her fans. The show began with one of her trademark love tunes.
Jolin performed eleven of her most popular hits at the concert, dancing and singing on the Roman style stage set, which cost her record company a fortune. The pirate ship alone stood as tall as a four storey building.
Also making an appearance was Elva. One year after Jolin made a guest appearance at her friend's concert, Elva returned the favor and they sang together.
As the steamy night drew to a close, Jolin rounded off the event with another sweet tune, and left her fans eagerly anticipating her next appearance.
