Hong Kong's universities will jointly set the Higher Education Pavilion at the Education & Careers Expo 2003 to be held next week.
The Higher Education External Relations Association of Hong Kong said Thursday the Pavilion held by the eight University Grants Committee-funded tertiary institutions will provide information to help the public choose the appropriate degree, sub-degree and postgraduate programs.
The Pavilion is designed as a towering university city to make participants feel like they are visiting the eight universities. By means of panes displays, printed materials, on-line information and counseling, individual institutions will give visitors introductions about developments, distinctive curricula, admission requirements, programs, highlights, career prospects and student services, the association said.
Another special feature is a common booth at the entrance to the Pavilion, illustrating an overall picture and recent development of higher education in Hong Kong. Videos of the eight universities will be shown.
The universities will also present a total of 33 seminar sessions on individual courses and admission particulars, the association said.
Education & Career Expo 2003 will be held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center from Feb. 20 to Feb. 23.
