The Postal Services of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) will issue the second set of stamps portraying the traditional lifestyle of the city in 1950s and 1960s on March 1.
The bureau announced on Friday that a total of 275,000 copies of the stamp set will be issued.
Carlos Roldao Lopes, director of the postal services, said at a press conference on Friday that the first set of the theme in 2003was warmly received by stamp collectors, which gave the bureau a confidence of continuing the theme.
This time, the set of eight stamps depict street scenes such as selling coconuts, eggs and making firecrackers.
The first set consists of eight stamps depicting miniature scenes such as children with candle-lit lantern in hand wandering through streets or relishing malt sugars.
