Hong Kong popular pop duo Twins promoted their new Mandarin album Around the World with 80 Yuan in Beijing on Saturday.
This is their second Mandarin album after their first, Practice Eros sold briskly in China last year.
"Eighty Yuan is the beginning of a dream, and if you have a dream, just as the lyrics say in the theme song, you will have a flying Persian Carpet which will take you wherever you want," said Twins explaining the title of the album.
To match the Around the World part of the title, the setting at the promotional event was a plane and the two lovely fairies got off the plane singing the title track Around the World with 80 Yuan, and another single, I Want to Love Him.
The new album is a collaborative work of many different genres and musicians, including Taiwan singer Mavis Fan and R&B singer J.J. Lam. Several days after it was first released in Hong Kong early this month, the album sold over 800,000 copies. The two singers and actresses expressed their hope that the number will exceed 1 million copies.
