A spectacular award ceremony is being held as part of the 1st Chinese TV Host Forum at the Shanghai Odeum, to commemorate outstanding TV hosts, where 234 nominees will vie for 24 awards.

CCTV popular entertainment program anchor Li Yong won the top award of Best Male Host and Shanghai beauty anchor Dong Qin took home the Best Female Host, while the Best Eloquence Award went to renowned CCTV anchor Bai Yansong.

The activity also marked the first time Chinese hosts communicated with veteran producers and media experts from foreign countries including America, France and Australia.
