Heat Wave to Continue in South China
A heat wave, with temperatures reaching 40 degrees Celsius, is expected to continue in most areas south of the Yangtze River on Monday and Tuesday.

The Central Meteorological Station forecast that areas of Hunan, Guangdong, Guizhou, Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, Shanghai and Chongqing municipalities and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will be hit by temperatures averaging from 35 to 38 degrees.

The highest temperatures, in parts of Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi, will reach 39 to 40 degrees.
