SW China Province to Execute Ten Drug Traffickers
A local court in southwest China's Yunnan Province will execute ten drug dealers in the next several days.

In accordance with the death penalty handed down by the province's high court, the Kunming Railway Transport Intermediate Court will verify their identities and carry out the sentence via firing squad.

The ten dealers transported huge amounts of drugs concealed in human bodies, shoes or luggage, a serious violation of China's criminal law, said the court.

Nine of the ten appealed to the high court, which upheld the verdict of the intermediate court.

The ten criminals will also be deprived of all political rights, according to the intermediate court.
