In north China's Tianjin City, over 90 workers in a joint venture with funds from the Republic of Korea (ROK) were sickened after eating night meals containing improperly cooked green beans early on Sunday.
By Sunday noon, most of the workers from the Hoosung (Tianjin) Electronics Co. Ltd. had left the Xianshuigu Hospital after some medical treatment, only a dozen others were staying at the hospital for further observation, said local sources.
The workers told reporters that they had late night meals bought from outside the company around midnight and some of them developed symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea and twitching about one hour later.
The company's administrators sent all the sickened workers to hospital.
