Two separate traffic accidents caused by buses injured 19 people in Hong Kong on Sunday evening.
In one, two buses collided on western Hong Kong's Lantau Island, leaving 14 passengers wounded.
In northern Hong Kong Island, a bus ran down two pedestrians who were crossing the road in North Point. Three passengers on the bus were also hurt in the incident.
All the injured were immediately sent to hospitals for treatment.
Hong Kong public buses are involved in roughly 2,200 accidents per year, a figure substantially lower than those for taxies or private vehicles.
