"Curse of the Golden Flower" star Liu Ye will marry his French girlfriend next month, the actor's agent announced on Wednesday.
The wedding is scheduled for July 5 at Temple of Earth in Beijing, and will not be open to the media, Sina.com.cn cites the agent as saying.
Liu Ye is currently in France and will not accept interviews until after the wedding, the agent added.
The actor has been trying to protect his bride, identified only as Anais, from the glare of the paparazzi.
Liu Ye, 31, began his romance in late 2006, not long after he broke up with his girlfriend of five years, actress and host Xie Na.
In 2001, Liu Ye became the youngest Best Actor winner in the history of the Taiwan Golden Horse Film Awards, for his role in Stanley Kwan's gay movie "Lan Yu". He was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 2007 Hong Kong Film Awards, for Zhang Yimou's blockbuster "Curse of the Golden Flower".
Liu Ye's recent films include Lu Chuan's Nanjing Massacre film "City of Life and Death".
