Photo taken on Nov. 21, 2008 shows the southern building of the Peace Hotel, the landmark construction of nearly 100 year history, at the Bund in Shanghai, China. The reconstruction project of the Peace Hotel has kicked off recently, whose northern and southern buildings would be reconstructed to a grand hotel and an art center respectively. It is predicted that the Peace Hotel will accomodate public guests before the Shanghai 2010 World Expo.
