China's space vehicles Tiangong 1 and Shenzhou 8 are set to dock around 1 a.m. Thursday, Xinhua reported.
The docking is to take place 330 kilometers above Gansu and Shaanxi Provinces.
The two space vehicles will stay docked for 12 days, after which they will separate and later perform a second docking maneuver.
