Chinese stocks climbed in the morning session on Friday as the country's consumer prices increased 3.2 percent in February, the lowest level since June 2010.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.4 percent, or 9.68 points, to 2,429.95 at the midday. The Shenzhen Component Index ended the morning session at 10,265.30, down 0.93 percent, or 94.17 points.
