Truck Accident in Jiangsu Kills 6 Students

Six people were killed and five injured in a road accident early Saturday morning in Wuxi, east China's Jiangsu Province.

 

The crash happened at 1:26 AM, when a mini truck suddenly lost control, smashing into a bus station on the Qianrong Road, sources said. Two people were killed on the spot, four died later in hospital.

 

The victims were students at a local vocational school of communications.

 

The five injured people included the truck driver, a chef from a local restaurant and three students.

 

Surnamed Du, the truck driver worked for a transportation company in Wuxi.

 

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
