Three people were killed and 12 others injured in a bus-truck
collision on Saturday in central China's Anhui Province, local traffic police said
Sunday.
The accident occurred during a jam in Susong County on a highway
that links Anhui and Hubei provinces when a bus rear ended a truck,
and then collided with another.
The bus driver and two passengers were killed on the spot. The
injured are in stable condition, doctors said.
Initial investigation showed that improper braking of the bus
should be blamed for the accident, traffic police said.
Further investigation into the cause of the accident is under
way.
