Ministry of Health Press Release (July 4) on SARS

The Press Office under the Ministry of Health published Friday afternoon a press release on the latest SARS situation on the Chinese mainland.

From 10:00 am July 3 to 10:00 am July 4, the Chinese mainland reported no new diagnosed and suspected SARS case, and no death. 1 patient in Beijing recovered and was discharged from hospital.

Now 26 diagnosed patients are receiving treatment in hospitals on the Chinese mainland (all from Beijing).

The Chinese mainland reported 2 suspected SARS cases (both from Guangdong).
