Ministry of Health Press Release (July 1) on SARS

The Press Office under the Ministry of Health published Tuesday afternoon a press release on the latest SARS situation on the Chinese mainland.

From 10:00 am June 30 to 10:00 am July 1, the Chinese mainland reported no new diagnosed and suspected SARS case, and no death. Three patients in Beijing recovered and were discharged from hospital.

Now 30 diagnosed patients are receiving treatment in hospitals on the Chinese mainland, including 27 from Beijing and 3 from Guangdong.

The Chinese mainland reported 1 suspected SARS case.
