Ministry of Health Press Release (June 29) on SARS

The Press Office under the Ministry of Health published Sunday afternoon a press release on the latest SARS situation on the Chinese mainland.

From 10:00 am June 28 to 10:00 am June 29, the Chinese mainland reported no new diagnosed SARS case and no death. Guangdong Province reported 1 new suspected case and 1 patient recovered and discharged from hospital.

Now 33 diagnosed patients are receiving treatment in hospitals on the Chinese mainland, including 30 from Beijing and 3 from Guangdong.

The Chinese mainland reported 1 suspected SARS case.
