The Press Office under the Ministry of Health published Wednesday
afternoon a press release on the latest SARS situation on the
Chinese mainland.
From 10:00 am June 24 to 10:00 am June 25, Guangdong reported 1 new
diagnosed SARS case (which used to be a suspected patient who had
been hospitalized for treatment since June 6). The Chinese mainland
reported a total of 15 patients recovered and discharged from
hospital, including 3 from Beijing, 5 from Tianjin, 3 from
Liaoning, 2 from Inner Mongolia and 1 each from Shanxi and Sichuan.
Beijing also reported 1 death.
Now 44 diagnosed patients are receiving treatment in hospitals on
the Chinese mainland, including 39 from Beijing, 4 from Guangdong,
1 from Shanghai.
The Chinese mainland reported no suspected case.
